No. 4 Adam Cabbage and John Moran dropped a 22-20, 21-15 decision to Avery Drost and Gregg Weaver. No. 3 Paul Araiza/Alejandro Parra fell victim to a Cody Kessel blocking exhibition 22-20, 21-19. No. 2 seed Ty Loomis/Ed Ratledge dropped consecutive games to Michael Brunsting/Chase Frishman.
