N.H.L. Roundup: Islanders Fall in a Shootout; Capitals Clinch a Berth
Pittsburgh’s Kris Letang scored the only goal of a shootout against the Islanders. Washington became the first N.H.L. team to clinch a playoff spot with a win over Carolina.
