On Golf: Jordan Spieth Studies a Legend and Chases a Nearly Grand Finale
Spieth developed his game in the image of Ben Hogan, who is considered the consummate golfer. With a win at the P.G.A. Championship, Spieth would become the third player, after Hogan and Tiger Woods, to win three majors in the same calendar year.
