Sounders’ Clint Dempsey Is Cleared to Return From Heart Problem

Dempsey learned in 2016 that he had an irregular heartbeat and was sidelined in December as Seattle won its first M.L.S. Cup, but he hopes to be on the field for the start of the coming season.
