William P. Kinsella, Author of ‘Shoeless Joe,’ Dies at 81

Mr. Kinsella’s award-winning novel was the inspiration for the 1989 movie “Field of Dreams,” starring Ray Liotta, James Earl Jones and Kevin Costner.
