Royals 5, Mets 4 (14 in nings): Royals Defeat Mets in 14th Inning to Take Game 1 of World Series
Jeurys Familia gave up a homer to Alex Gordon in the ninth to tie the score, and Alcides Escobar scored on a sacrifice fly as the Royals won the longest Game 1 in Series history.
