Mets Call Up Michael Conforto and Put Michael Cuddyer on the Disabled List

Conforto, an outfielder, was promoted from Class AA Binghamton in an attempt to bolster the Mets’ meek offense. Cuddyer had played sparingly in recent weeks because of a knee injury.
